Stichting Musica proudly organizes the annual Aruba Caiso & Soca Monarch (ACSM). Over the years, the competition that is linked to Aruba's carnival season, has grown into a festival that showcases Aruba's top musical talents.
Each year, singers, songwriters, musical arrangers and bands prepare themselves to compete for the maximum title. The music that is produced for the festival, becomes the driving force of the following Carnival parades and keeps on living long after the season.
The Soca rhythms become the heartbeat of our local community and are played throughout the entire year at festivities and celebrations. The messages brought forward in the Calypso category become the talk of the town, as political, societal and the diverse factors that live within our community are addressed on stage.
ACSM remains Aruba’s biggest music competition and is a steady pillar within our island's culture. Visitors to our island and locals alike enjoy the unique sound of Aruba, which is a blend of the rich, multicultural history of Aruba.
